Save the Date Design Inspiration

Happy Valentine’s Day! With love in the air, we anticipate many newly engaged couples. If you happen to be one of them (or will be soon) we want to help get your planning off to a great start!  As promised in our post on Charlottesville Wedding Blog, we compiled some examples of our favorite Save the Date cards to inspire you as you prepare to announce your wedding date.  As the first formal announcement of your engagement, this is the perfect opportunity to share a taste of what you are planning stylistically for your wedding!

Choose a design that is consistent with your style and personality. Thinking through color choices and your wedding theme will also help inform your decision and help you start the planning process.

As a courtesy to your guests, Save the Date cards are typically sent out six months in advance in order to give them plenty of time to plan ahead.

Add a personal touch to your Save the Date and include pictures from your engagement session. Some of your guests may not know your fiancé so this is a great way to introduce them and highlight you as a couple! This also creates a great keepsake for guests that they will want to hold on to even after your big day. ________P I NSite Image
