Unique Wedding Lighting at Crystal and Ryan’s Reception – Part 2

bride and groom with butterfly

After yesterday’s post featuring Part 1 on Crystal and Ryan’s wedding, we are so excited to show you more pictures from their big day at the Earlyhouse! Down to every detail, this wedding was a perfect reflection of this amazing couple and we loved seeing them so overjoyed to begin their new life together.

We love the way Crystal and Ryan used old books for their centerpieces and even created their own chandelier out of Edison bulbs to dance underneath! Unique wedding lighting is something we’ve been advocating this year as it always adds a nice glow for the reception pictures!

One of my favorite moments occurred during Ryan’s toast to Crystal.  ”You’re perfect,” Ryan said to her, as he expressed his deep love for his new bride. Ryan’s speech certainly set the tone for the rest of the evening and it would be hard to find a couple who is more in love than these two!

Enjoy looking through more of their pictures. Aren’t the night reflection pictures stunning?!

Crystal & Ryan’s Wedding at Earlyhouse in Louisa, VA – Part 1

field at Earlyhouse

Crystal and Ryan celebrated their wedding at Earlyhouse in Louisa, VA on a beautiful summer day! This was a very special wedding because Crystal and Ryan have been good friends of ours for quite some time. Ryan and Aaron went to UVA together, and after Undergrad Ryan moved to New York where he met Crystal!  They moved back to Charlottesville for Ryan to go to grad school, and during that time Crystal has been doing all of our amazing design work that you’ve seen over the last year!

Crystal and Ryan incorporated some great summer details to their wedding inspired by their time together, including serving bubble tea before the ceremony (a favorite of their’s from NY) and having fans as a fun favor to keep guests refreshed throughout the afternoon! The ceremony was officiated by Crystal’s Dad, making it a very intimate and meaningful service for everyone. Another one of our other favorite moments of the day (and most challenging to capture!) was when doves were released at the end of the ceremony.

This day has been a long time coming and we loved seeing everything come together so beautifully! Enjoy looking through their pictures and be sure to take a peek at Part 2 of their summer wedding reception tomorrow!

Christina & Wayne’s Wedding Reception at Pippin Hill Farm

sunset pictures at Pippin Hill

After part one yesterday, we are excited to reveal more of Christina and Wayne’s Pippin Hill Farm wedding! One of our favorite things about their wedding reception at Pippin Hill was that Christina and Wayne took some time to pause and soak up all of the special memories of the day. We couldn’t have planned for a more perfect ending to such an incredible day! The sunset that evening was breathtaking and Aaron was able to capture some incredible images of the sky while they enjoyed some quiet moments together (you can check out our guest post on the Charlottesville Wedding Blog this week to see how to plan time in for sunset photos like the one above).

The celebrating went long into the evening thanks to music from DJ Derek Tobler and the whole night was filled with meaningful gifts from family including a special guitar performance! We love the way they incorporated both cakes and cupcakes from Cakes Unlimited and used unique vintage items such as a suitcase for cards from Amore Events by Cody to add a rustic flair to their evening. Special thanks to all of the amazing vendors that helped create a fun family wedding reception for Christina and Wayne! Enjoy looking through more of their pictures!
