When we hear destination wedding, we envision crystal clear water and white sand beaches. But for Kaliane and Donald, the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, and amazing Keswick Vineyards, was their dream location for their destination wedding. Kaliane and her family are originally from Brazil, so there was quite a bit of Brazilian wedding inspiration incorporated in their destination wedding, from her awesome Brazilian flip flops to the amazing desert table at the reception! Having photographed a wedding in Brazil in 2007 (and being published in the Brazilian Brides magazine Noivas) it felt like we were Brazilian wedding photographers all over again!

Kaliane and Donald’s wedding ceremony and reception was full of elegance, charm, and love! Their dazzling smiles and complimenting personalities made it such a joy to be a part of their beautiful wedding day! Everything from their first dance, to the speeches made by family and friends, to digging up their bottle of bourbon was perfect. The atmosphere throughout the evening was one of pure joy and romance as the couple and their guests danced the night away, including glow sticks, conga lines, and limbo!
