A Rocking Castle Hill Wedding

Talk about a fun wedding day! Kat & Chris had a beautiful Castle Hill wedding at the beginning of September. Kat and Chris had a romantic first look outside the barn where they first exchanged their private vows to each other. It was so intimate, and such a nice way to enjoy a private moment during such an eventful day!

Their wedding was rustic, yet glamorous at the same time. The day started off a bit cloudy and we all hoped that the rain would hold off until after the wedding ceremony, but alas the weather had it’s own plan. After the beautiful couple enjoyed a bit of private time together, we raced to get pictures with family and wedding party before the storm arrived. We love vibrant pictures with lots of color, and the coming storm definitely helped created a dramatic feel! We also loved the multiple colors of Kat’s bridesmaid dresses, and how her sisters were in sequins while everyone else in different shades of pastels.

The wedding ceremony ended up being warm and cozy inside the loft of the barn. The bistro lights and view from the loft were so romantic, and everyone really enjoyed being together to celebrate Kat & Chris! Logan Powell with Blue Ridge Event Production and C&O Catering did an incredible job with the decor for their Castle Hill wedding reception. The room just glowed with romance. When the band started playing, the energy in the room went wild! The band members of The Gentlemen and their Lady were so energetic, and everyone had a blast dancing the night away. Our favorite part of the night was when the Paraguayan flag came out (where Kat’s family is from) and Kat along with her family started swinging it around as they sang at the top of their lungs.

To top it all off we were fortunate enough to have a few members of the band play join Kat and Chris outside, as we captured some awesome photos in the rain before Kat & Chris’s sparkler exit! Hearing them play outside, made it feel like we were in a New Orleans second line parade! What a night it was! Kat & Chris we hope you had a wonderful honeymoon in Sri Lanka and the Maldives (your pictures looked amazing)! We wish you many years of happiness in marriage and life!
